Or as some would call this ‘stack n’ whack’. Regardless - I fell in love with the tropical blue/green print. Little did I know what a struggle this small piece would turn out to be. First off I had not purchased enough and I
know that there is no going back. If you like something buy enough because you’ll never see it again.
Secondly - As much as I loved the focus fabric I had an awful time finding fabrics to go with it. Nothing
worked! Several months later after dragging this print out of my purse at every quilt shop I visited I found
enough pieces of hand dyed to work into it.
Next I tried to fit some of the 3 dimensional boxes and blocks that the book suggests. Those were a complete failure. They are in the donation pile. But it finally came together and I’m please with it. Don’t know that I’ll
ever attempt another on. Yeah, yeah, never say never.
