These quilts are doll quils I've made to go with the doll beds my husband makes for toys for tots. In previous years he has always made 'boy' type toys. cars, trucks, etc. This year it was requsted that he make 'girl' type toys. So he's doing small jewelry or treasure boxes and doll beds. On researching the American Girls web site the average doll is 18 inches tall. The inside measurement of a bed is 20 inches. So that's pretty much what I'm aiming for though generally my quilts come out to what ever size they come out to.
My contribution to this project is making the matresses, pillows and quits for each bed. I'm learning a lot! I also have about 10 more to make.
